Washington Square Park

As New York City continues to reopen and many people are resuming their normal lives, our society cannot go back to ignoring racism and the systemic oppression of black people in America. We invite all artists and supporters to join us in Washington Square Park to peacefully demonstrate through the creation of art. We will have supplies for sign making, sidewalk chalk art, and a collective group canvas. Further, we welcome and encourage creators of all mediums to bring their work and supplies to protest with us. Visibility is essential to keeping the movement strong and art has the ability to maximize our reach. The fight for justice is not over. 2/3 of Breonna’s Taylor murderers have yet to be fired and we mustn’t forget about her. Keep fighting for Breonna and black lives that remain under threat in our country. We will be at Washington Square Park all day and all ages are welcome to come through.
