Carl Schurz Park I

Come through to Carl Shurz Park any time between 11am and 6:45pm on Sunday, August 2nd. We have partnered with @ues4blm and our demonstration will lead into the nightly vigil. Supplies will be available to make signs, paint, do chalk art, and work on a collective canvas. We encourage creatives of all mediums to join us. This will be a peaceful demonstration and children are welcome. Through creative outlets, we can keep the public engaged in the fight against systemic racism and police brutality. Don’t be silent, use your voice and imagination to make a visible statement supporting the Black Lives Matter Movement. All creative projects are welcome, as well as flowers, poems, or any other objects memorializing the victims of police brutality. Don’t let the public forget about Elijah McClain, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and the many others lost.
