ABOUT
We are a community of New York City based artists and creators supporting the Black Lives Matter movement through art and protest. By providing art supplies to the public at our events, we hope to empower people from all walks of life to share their unique perspective, occupy the streets with their vision, and be part of a space for collective healing. Our mission is to saturate public spaces with art and political messages to continue the visibility of the movement. Through this visibility, we hope to spark conversations and stoke efforts in the fight to dismantle systemic racism. Filling the streets with the countless faces and names of those lost to police brutality humanizes each individual victim and communicates the weight of suffering we feel in their absence. Our organization is founded on the belief that protest art has the power to channel grief into iconic images that express what is beyond words.
